SECTION A (30 marks)
In questions 1–18, choose the option (A, B, C or D) that best completes the sentence.
SECTION B (40 marks)
Answer one question only. Spend the first 10 minutes reading the questions and planning your answer. You are expected to write between 350 and 500 words. Marks awarded for layout, language, content and creativity.
Option 31A
Imagine that suicide cases are alarmingly increasing in your area and you are concerned about the situation. Write a letter to the officer-in-charge of your nearest police station explaining the situation and asking for assistance. (40 marks)
Option 31B
Imagine that cases of child labour are increasing in your area, a situation which has resulted into numerous problems. Write a report to the Minister of Labour explaining the situation and asking for help. (40 marks)
